Biography
Born on August 21, 1962, in Springfield, Oregon, Mark Worman lost his father when he was 12 years old and had a massive impact on his life. He was raised by his mother, Ruby Worman, in a low-income family.
Despite these obstacles, his love with automobiles remained. Mark dropped out of Springfield High School in the 9th grade.
He spends his interest with cars by exploring magazines. At 16, he bought his own car. It was a 70’s Dodge Charger with a 383 double barrel engine and FK5 burnt orange color.
He started his career working in an autobody shop as a pump jockey boy. He was then promoted in a managerial role.
After that, he earned his GED at a local college and eventually became a walking encyclopedia of Dodge and Plymouth cars. In 1985, Mark opened his first auto shop, Welby’s Car Care Center, in Springfield, Oregon.
